What is Hitchin Christian Centre?
 
Hitchin Christian Centre is the new home of the Hitchin Church of God which has been established in the town since 1981. Before the Centre was built we met at Westmill Community centre but it was always our vision to have a centrally located building to enable us to reach more people.

After many years of fund-raising and watching the church grow from 16 to 150 members, that vision has now been realised. Hitchin Christian Centre was officially opened in September 1998.
 
Who is it for?
 
It is our intention to use the Christian Centre not only as a place of worship but as a place dedicated to serving the community. God loves all people, of all ages, of all races, from all walks of life and we hope that the variety of activities available at Hitchin Christian Centre reflect that love.

It doesn't matter who you are, where you've been or what you've done, there is something here for you at the Christian Centre and we are very pleased to welcome you.
