Sunday Mornings

Our Sunday morning meetings are a great mix of dynamic worship, challenging teaching and time to catch up over a coffee. Everyone is welcome - it's a fantastic way to connect and be inspired, you won't want to miss it!

What to expect if you're coming for the first time...

If it's your first time coming to HCC we want you to feel comfortable - and we know it helps to know what to expect! So here's the information bit....

When?

Our action-packed service starts at 11:00am. (If you'd prefer a quieter, more reflective experience of church, you could try the 9:30am service.)

Come anytime from 10:30am for a coffee and a warm welcome.

We finish around 12:30pm, when there's more time for coffee, chatting or just chilling out. Don't worry at all if you need to leave before the end of the service - you can easily slip out anytime.

Where?

Directions should help you find us!

Where can I park?

We've got heaps of free parking behind the main building - just turn in and follow the signs. Disabled parking is at the front.

The service...

Sit anywhere you like - there are no reserved seats!

Our services have lots of variety, but they're always relaxed, friendly, Bible-based and geared towards helping us connect with God in a real way.

A typical service might look something like this...

We'll start with a song or two, then a welcome and info about any events coming up. There's a time of worship with a live band, and we pray together for people in our church, community and world. Then we'll have a talk, or sermon, which will help us to apply the things the Bible says to the world we live in and our lives today.

Children and young people...

Most weeks our children and young people (aged 1 to 14) spend part of the time with the main congregation and part in their own groups. Children stay with their parents for the first part of the service, and a notice is given to indicate when they should leave for their groups. This will usually be at about 11:30am, before the main talk begins.
