Spotlight is back after the summer break with loads of fun and excitement and crazy activities for 6 to 10 year olds. You'll find us at HCC every Thursday during term time. From 5:30 to 6pm we provide a simple dinner for all the kids, all included in the £1 entrance fee and we welcome parents to come and join us for a cuppa too! At 6pm the fun begins...to the sound of the 'Thunderbirds' count down, the children know it's time to enter "the Zone" for 1 hour and 15 mins of fast and furious fun and madness! The programme is a lively mix of games, DVD clips, action songs, Bible teaching, team competitions and crafts. Each week, we have a special challenge for the kids to tackle, often involving custard, shaving foam, toilet rolls, jelly, pasta...! There are also some amazing new challenges and opportunities for those in years 5 & 6, as we'll be helping them explore their own unique talents and gifts and how they can make a significant difference in their world. Spotlight is a fantastic way to reach today's kids, touching on subjects that affect their everyday lives and looking at ways God can help them reach all their amazing potential.
