Ray Of Hope
Ray of Hope exists to transform the lives of children and families living in the villages scattered along the edge of the River Amazon in Brazil.
Every week in remote parts of Brazil, the Ray of Hope team takes to the river to meet the needs of the children of the Amazon, bringing love to villages in very practical ways - holding kid's clubs, working with children with special needs and helping young mothers tend to the needs of their children. Ray of Hope have been supporting families and providing food, clothing and medical care. They're now building schools and improving literacy.

At HCC we're involved in raising funds to support this vital work. We raised money to contribute to the building of this school in Anama. Now finished, it's providing education to over 100 children as well as educating adults. This school is transforming the lives of many families who live in its vicinity. The main project at the moment is a new health & medical centre which will provide a health, education and community centre for the villages in the area. The work that's being done through Ray of Hope is incredible - bringing life, hope, change and love to an almost forgotten group of children and their families - and being part of this is something we're passionate about here at HCC. |
