AIM Moheli
AIM International has a programme where churches can 'adopt-a-people' to pray for. At HCC we've adopted Mohéli, and it's our tremendous privilege to pray for the people and the mission work that has started there.
Mohéli is one of the islands of the Union of the Comoros, off the coast of Africa, with a population of around 500,000. As an Islamic state, 98% are Muslim and all open witness to other faiths is forbidden by law. However, there's now a small group of Christian believers, and we're praying that one day a church will be established on Moheli and will reach its own people with God's love.
We receive regular updates on what to pray for from missionaries working with the Mohelian people. Just by praying, we can make a huge difference to these lives, to a nation of people across the other side of the world. We can be part of bringing in the Kingdom of God without even leaving our living rooms!
