Playbox
Playbox is our Pre-School centre running every day during term time. Playbox offers quality care and education in a safe, fun and stimulating environment where all children are recognised as being unique and individual.
Our staff team is highly dedicated and experienced. We have a high child to adult ratio and every child has their own personal Keyworker. Playbox follows the Early Year Foundation Stage with each child having their own Personal Learning Plan.
Playbox:
Monday to Friday 9:15am - 12:15pm
Tuesday and Wednesday 1:00pm - 3:00pm
Playbox Lunch Club:
Monday and Thursday 12:15pm - 12:55pm

To give every child the chance to develop at their own level

To facilitate visitors from outside - if you have a talent or job which would interest small children or help their awaress (e.g. nurse, fireman, musician etc.), please contact us

Playbox Pre-School is a member of the Pre-School Learning Alliance and is registered with Ofsted. Playbox received a very good Ofsted report with outstanding achieved in three areas (see the full reports here). Playbox was awarded the Herts Quality Standard in 2004. Playbox is part of Hitchin Christian Centre, which is a registered charity.
