Pictures of the centre in Risipeni

I thought it was about time I wrote as I have been back in Moldova for almost a month now. We are preparing for Easter which begins next Thursday evening and finishes Monday evening (5th April). Sunday the 4th we will all gather for a service at the church at dawn as they celebrate the actual time that Jesus rose from the dead! I'm really looking forward to celebrating Easter here. Between Easter and Pentecost we greet everyone by saying "Isus aviati", which means Jesus is alive and the other person responds with "adevarat a aviati", which means it's true he is alive or he has risen! All the people in the village join in, it's really special.

The centre looks beautiful, I have 4 ladies working with me who are very enthusiastic and the residents are just waiting for the go ahead to move in. Unfortunately we are ploughing through lots of paperwork and waiting for the authorities to give us permission to open.

I want to thank you for your ongoing support, prayers and encouragements, they mean so much to me especially as this week has been particularly frustrating and at times i have felt despondent. However, to know that you are there for me cheering me on, makes all the difference. If you have had any more thoughts re Coffee For A Cause, I would love to hear from you and will be happy to send you a promotional pack. We currently have £340 pledged to the monthly operating costs which is fantastic and need a further £400 in pledges to meet budget. This enables us to house 5 elderly people full time and to feed the remaining elderly in the village three days per week, and to provide activities for them such as chess, embroidery and other crafts.
I'm in need of much patience as we head towards our goal, the wheels of bureaucracy turn ever so slowly here and when the goal is in sight it results in higher levels of frustration as it looks so close. Suffice to say God is on the throne and has everything in hand, He tells us to wait and be patient His timing is supreme and excellent.
Thank you so very much for all that you are enabling, you are changing lives and I know that when the centre is up and running, nothing will ever be the same again, it will be a shining beacon of Jesus love for all to see and experience. I am very very grateful to you.
Much love and appreciation, always.
