Ask the Pastor: What does the old HCC logo mean?
Q: I was doing my RE homework and had to do a poster about why RE is important. I was looking for pictures to do with our church and found one of the cross with a tail coming from it. Why does the cross have a tail coming from it?
A: Hi! Thanks for the question! You are referring to HCC's old logo - it's not a tail, it's a cross and a flame! The flame represents the flame of the Holy Spirit which sat on the heads of the people in the upper room in Acts 2.
Hope that helps,
Tony
