Sundays at Hitchin Christian Centre
Most people know that Sunday is the Lord's day and so you go to church. However, many people don't understand why we go to church. We meet together to praise and thank God, learn about what God wants for us, and support each other with love and friendship. Morning service 10:30am This includes an uplifting time of praise and worship. During the practical Bible-based teaching the under-15s leave for their various activities and a creche is organised for children between 1-4 years old. Communion is celebrated one Sunday each month. Refreshments are served afterwards. Family and Friendship Service 10:30am This service is held on the last Sunday of every month. Although it is similar in format to our usual morning service, this service has the whole church in together for the morning. The aim is for us all to learn more about God, together. It is children-orientated, but fun for all! There are often songs and dramas, and even occasional puppet shows! Refreshments are served afterwards. Sunday Evenings Sunday evenings are changing a little, more information to come soon.
