Facilities & Events Manager

Della is Facilities and Events Manager at HCC. This role includes the day to day management of our buildings and the practical needs of our events. You can find Della engrossed in anything from roof repairs to managing weddings and christmas celebrations, taking her from catering to staging and snow machines, along with the volunteers needed to make it happen. Della is passionate about bringing chaos into order, and seeing volunteers serving in areas that match their giftings – everyone working together to achieve a goal.

Della comes from a background in Healthcare, qualifiying as a Nurse in 1996 which led to successful career in Orthopaedic Nursing and eventually a senior position in Nurse Education focusing on Health and Safety within the NHS, and her management skills are now used within the Facilities and Event Management environment. Della has also supported her husband Phil in his role in church leadership and has many years of experience of serving within a church environment.

Happiest: Out for a country cycle ride, popping in at a café on the way, or even better having a relaxing day at a spa!
